Hi! I'm D.J.
I am a former Division 1 pitcher at Jacksonville University and a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach. I picked up a baseball bat for the first time at just 18 months old in my backyard, and I’ve been hooked on the game ever since.
After undergoing Tommy John surgery in college, I was forced to hang up my cleats, which left me bitter toward the game I had always loved. I took the corporate route, but over time, I realized how much I missed baseball—and how unfulfilled I felt in that world.
That’s when I became determined to find my way back, not only to help players reach their full potential but also to guide them in avoiding the same fate as myself.
Growing up, I trained under the former athletic trainer of the New York Mets, and along with my professional certifications, this gave me a deep understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, and performance optimization. I train with precision and purpose because baseball relies on highly specific movement patterns—and I believe in targeting them!
